This Amazon Warehouse Deal arrived with a broken zipper. Amazon suggested a return, but would not allow exchange because it was an Amazon Warehouse Deal and already discounted. I asked for a creative solution; I asked if I were to have the zipper repaired would Amazon cover the cost? Amazon said that it would depend on the cost of the repair. I got the zipper repair for $20, Amazon covered the cost, and I get to keep a really nice weekend duffle. Thanks Amazon!

In the early ‘80s when Swapan Basu chanced upon the opportunity to make hand-painted accessories; he was quick to seek help from his best friend and wife, Roma. In 1984, Roma started designing hand-painted bags while developing the process and refining the method of painting over the years. Today it is a closely guarded family secret. Anuschka bags are a feast for the eyes. The colors are a very powerful element in these designs. The wide range of abstracts, imaginary and natural scenes, depicted in muted colors of all shades and hues, transforms each handbag into an object of timeless art.

Stunning bag, durable construction & leather, good design

Excellent smallish shoulder or cross body bag. Easily holds my necessities plus room for more. The look is really stunning, the high quality is evident. I also purchased a checkbook cover which fits perfectly both for my check and in the bag. I am 5'9" and the strap really is long enough for me. I wanted a bag that is not only pretty, but also one that would be very difficult to misplace. Price is fine for this quality bag.
I was so pleased that I purchased the same bag in Wild Hibiscus to coordinate better with some black clothing, AND treated myself to the large ruched Paradise Leopard bag. I checked out a few sites before purchasing, including Anuschka. Amazon has the best prices.
